SWITCHGEAR SYSTEMS OFFERS MORE POWER TO CUSTOMERS

 

Two of the switchgear industry's most experienced professionals have launched Switchgear Systems - a new business which aims to give customers a greater choice of products and services.

The new Rugby-based company is owned and run by industry specialists, Richard Kennedy and Alan Green. Switchgear Systems also has the backing of one of Europe's foremost fusegear specialists, Efen GmbH. Efen is part of the Heinrich Industrie Group, which also has a considerable presence in worldwide fuse manufacture, via its Wickmann and Pudenz subsidiaries.

Switchgear Systems is the sole UK distributor for Efen and Efen Peterreins products to general industry and sectors such as power and telecommunications, specialising in power isolation and changeover switching.

In addition to an extensive range of standard switchgear products, the company is set to launch products which will complement the existing range. These will include busbar chambers, three phase distribution boards with associated modular devices, control relays and rotary switches

"We have negotiated the sole UK distribution rights for Efen and Efen Peterreins equipment, which when added to the new products, means we are able to offer a complete package of distribution equipment to electrical wholesalers and distributors." said Switchgear Systems' Managing Director, Richard Kennedy.

Chairman Alan Green explained "We want to continue as a niche services company and are very pleased to have a partner like Efen.
